The 145.230 repeater is used for local Skywarn operations. During an activated weather net, keep transmissions brief, follow the net control station, and give priority to requested severe-weather reports and emergency traffic.
The Princeton Ham Radio Club conference bridge is available at extension 10410. It is primarily intended to support W4KBL Skywarn activities and coordination.
Become a trained spotter
Good reports start with training.
National Weather Service Skywarn training covers storm development, severe-weather features, what to report, how to report it, and personal safety. Training is free and is typically coordinated through the local NWS office.
